NATAL ATTRACTIVE COLLECTION nicely written-up on album pages includes (amongst much else) the 1857 3d rose embossed used SG 4, 1859 Chalon set used SG 9/10, 1861-62 3d & 6d set unused no gum SG 12/13, 1862 1d rough perf unused no gum SG 15, 1863 1d both shades mint SG 18/19, 1863-65 1d brn-red & 1d brt red SG 20 & 22, 6d lilac & 6d violet SG 23/24 all mint/unused (also a 6d rose used postally, rather than fiscally), 1867 1s green unused SG 25, 1869 "Postage" selection of various types on values to 1s incl SG 27u, 44u, 51 unused, 56u, 1870-73 1d brt red unused SG 60, 1874 1d rose used SG 65, 1875 1d rose mint SG 76 and 6d violet mint SG 83, leaving the Chalons behind we see such things as the 1874-99 5s (all three shades SG 71/73 unused or mint), 1877 ½d on 1d mint SG 87, a range of better mint stamps plus the 1891 2½d on 4d "Specimen" opt SG 109s incl the 1892-89 set with all the listed shades and some additional blocks mint SG 97/103, 1895 surcharges with a number of varieties, 1902-03 set complete mint SG 127/139, 1902 5s mint SG 140, 1904-08 set mint incl a few multiples SG 146/157 also the £1.10 fiscal used (SG 162, cat £4750 postal used), 1908-09 set to 10s mint SG 165/70. OFFICIALS 1904 set mint SG O1/O6. An attractive collection with strength in the unused / mint issues.
