Cap of Good Hope

1901, BURENKRIEG, Feldpostbrief "On Active Service" aus Mafeking nach London, vorderseitig alter, wiederverwendeter Datumstempel "MAFEKING / NR 24 / 1 / C.G.H." und roter Londoner PAID-Stempel, rs. Ausgabestempel "LONDON N.W. / AP 22 01". Beförderungsspuren, oben etwas eingerissen, sonst ansehnlicher Beleg. Mafeking war bis Mai 1900 von burischen Truppen belagert gewesen, der Burenkrieg endete erst 1902.
