BOER WAR 1900 cover to England from Lt. Col. C. J. Blomfield, a British P.O.W. at Daspoort Camp, Pretoria. The cover has small tear at upper right which is just into the stamp - Transvaal 2½d, cancelled Pretoria 22.MAY.00 and a Boer P.O.W. censor h/stamp. Lourenco Marques 23 MEI and London JU.23.00 cancels on the reverse. Lt. Col. Blomfield of the 2nd Lancs Fusiliers was captured on 22 Jan 1900 at Spion Kop, Natal.
