1855 folded outer wrapper from Plettenberg Bay to Cape Town with 4d lightly tied by a barred triangular cancel. The stamp has a stain at the left corner & faults at the lower right. Plettenberg Bay AP.11 & Cape Town AP.15.1855 double oval d/stamps are on the back. Also an 1836 local folded outer wrapper (faults) with a manuscript charge of 1/1d in red, and a General Post Office Cape of Good Hope h/stamp. The 1/1d rate was the highest inland letter charge at that time.
