Interesting and rare banknote printed in Rhodesia in attractive condition. It was the last years of the Great Britain realm, Her Majesty Elizabeth II (1953-2022) lost the territory, which was named after the businessman Cecil Rhodes, who applied a lot of effort and vision to develop it under the Crown. To make a tribute to him the banknote depicts his portrait at the watermark, beautifully visible on the images. The issue was dated 1966 and 1968, being this year 1966 scarcer.
